Peter Stevenson

Peter Stevenson began his early childhood in the rural countryside of Pennsylvania’s Chester County; just a few miles from the Brandywine School and its' legacy of artists and illustrators, including N.C.Wyeth, Maxfield Parrish, and the school’s founder Howard Pyle. Heavily influenced by the exposure during formative years, Stevenson attended University of Maryland’s Fine Art program, following his family’s relocation to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. He became a regular contributing illustrator to The Washington Post,Washingtonian Magazine, the Washington Book Review,The ColumbiaTimes,American Politics Magazine, in addition to freelancing for numerous other regional and national publications. While continuing to produce illustration work, Stevenson's career broadened into graphic design. Until several years ago, Stevenson was President and Executive Creative Director of The Stevenson Group—an advertising & design communications agency in The Lehigh Valley, and has served on the AAF Advisory board.
